The Cast

Keegan Riojas (Bobby Strong)

Keegan is from the Lone Star State and is in his fifth semester here at AMDA getting his BFA in Musical Theatre. Keegan has recently been seen as Gangster #2  in The Drowsy Chaperone here at AMDA. Other credits include Schroeder in You're a Good Man..., Seymour in Little Shop..., Link in Hairspray and many more. Keegan would like to thank Nick DeGruccio for believing in him and being the best director he's ever had. He is truly blessed to be a part of this production and 

could not be happier to be a part of this incredible cast! He would also like to thank his wonderful parents and the big man upstairs because without them he would not be here today!

  Mitchell Horne

(Officer Lockstock)

Mitchell Horne is in his final semester here at AMDA and has enjoyed being apart of his third BFA musical production and apart of this new cast/family. Other productions he's performed in include three of the blackbox musical performances here at AMDA. Along with Hairspray before AMDA. He was apart of the Fall BFA musical The Drowsy Chaperone and has loved being apart of this one just as much as the last.

     Gabrielle Farrow

(Little Becky Two-Shoes)

Gabrielle is a second semester musical theatre major and is thrilled to be making her mainstage debut at AMDA. She is from Dayton, Ohio and is loving it in LA. Some of her favorite roles that she’s performed include Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Kathy Seldon in Singin’ in the Rain, and Daisy Buchannan in The Great Gatsby. She is so happy to be adding Little Becky Two-Shoes to her resume and hopes you have your money to pay for the bathroom at intermission! 

    Marco Sciascia

(Robbie the Stockfish)

Marco was born and raised in Brindisi, Italy. He started taking dance classes when he was 15 years old. He got his first dance gig when he was 17 years old. He danced all over Italy and in some cities in Europe. He attended the Paolo Grassi dramatic school for two years in Milan and then came to AMDA. He wants to thank all of his friends and family for all the love and support!

Megan Hill

Megan Hill was born and raised in Orange County, California where she grew up performing at The Disneyland Resort and The Orange County Museum of Art. After deciding to pursue performing as a career, Megan moved to Hollywood to obtain a BFA in Dance Theatre at AMDA-LA. Throughout her time at AMDA, Megan has worked extensively as a swing and hopes to take all she has learned into a professional setting, ideally performing internationally.

Evin Johnson

Evin is thrilled to be performing in his 4th mainstage show at AMDA. Previous  credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone ,Les Mis and children of Eden. Evin has also toured around the country with WGI. His favorite credits include: Legally blonde and Les Mis at the Stafford center in Texas. Evin would like to thank his Mom, Dad, Grandparents, all of his closest friends and

   Chris Villasenor

Chris Villasenor grew up in Hawaii, is in the 8th semester and graduates this June. He would like to thank the creative team and his fellow castmates for the amazing opportunity to wrap up his AMDA career with a bang! Love you, Mom.

Logan "Boone" Grigsby

    Billy Boy Bill U/S)

Boone Grigsby was born in Fort Worth, Texas and his interest in musical theatre blossomed after seeing the touring production of Disney's The Lion King in Dallas. With support from his family, 

Boone enrolled in AMDA’s B.F.A. Music Theatre Program in Los Angeles. When he isn't on stage he's trying to make people laugh, Boone is a video gamer, avid movie watcher, and Harry Potter reader.

 Shannon McKee

Shannon McKee is a singer, dancer and actor from Longmont, Colorado and from a young age she has known that performing is her calling in life. She came to California to pursue a higher education here at AMDA the College and Conservatory of the performing arts, and then move on to fulfilling her life long dream. While at AMDA, she has had the pleasure of performing in multiple semesters of The Black Box Music 

project and now this semesters Main Stage Musical. Shannon is extremely excited to share this experience with the audience and her fellow cast mates, whom she loves dearly. Don’t forget your pennies! You’ll need them!

Gabbie Beltrano is excited to be back at the LA campus after spending her fall semester in  New York. She's grateful to be performing on the AMDA stage again with Urinetown as her fourth AMDA production after West Side Story, Dance Concert: Reflection, and NY's Dance Workshop. Gabbie is also so thankful for having the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast and crew, and to be cast as understudy for Little Sally.

Quentin T. Thomas hails from Anniston, AL and is currently a 5z here at AMDA LA. After serving six years in the United States Air Force he attended AMDA NY and graduated in Feb of 2014. His performing credits include: The Making of a Team (Smitty), the Drama Leaque NYC; Smoke on the Mountain (Uncle Stanley) OPAC, AL; Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Freddy Benson) and Hairspray (Seaweed) Little Rock, AR; and two international tours with the USAF Tops in Blue as a featured vocalist. "I am super excited to be a part of 

such an amazing group of talented performers and even more amazing human beings...I love you guys, lets take them to RIO!" 

Sarah is absolutely thrilled to be a part of AMDA's main stage musical for the second time! Sarah is currently in her 8th and final semester of The Performing Arts Musical Theatre program at AMDA. Originally from Springfield, Virginia, she graduated from AMDA's New York City Conservatory last spring but continued on to LA to receive her BFA. Sarah first 

caught the musical theatre bug in first grade when she played The Seahorse Herald in The Little Mermaid. Past shows at AMDA LA include Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone and three semesters of Blackbox Music Concert where she is remembered for her feature rap in the stylings of Kanye West. Sarah would like to thank her friends, family, dog (aka best friend) and cast mates for all of their constant love and support!

Shannon Gerrity

Shannon was raised in the Bay Area (Go Warriors!) and is a 7th semester Musical Theatre major. She is honored to be in her fourth BFA Musical at AMDA, having performed in Thoroughly Modern Millie , How to Succeed... and The Drowsy Chaperone. She is the fabulous one of three

sisters and her mom is her biggest fan! Special thanks to Kimberly Weber for being bombtastic!

Shannon is thrilled to be taking on the role of Little Sally and wants to thank Nick and the rest of the creative team for giving her this oppurtunity!

   Danielle Philapil

Danielle is ecstatic to be a part of this wonderful production. Previous credits include The Drowsy Chaperon-Drowsy U/S and Ensemble, How to Succeed-Miss Krumhotlz (AMDA), Annie Get Your Gun-Ensemble (AMDA), In the Heights-Carla (BBBay), Evita-Ensemble (BBBay), Madame Butterfly-Dancer (OSJ), Cabaret - Choreographer (BBBay), Guys and Dolls-Ensemble (BBBay), CATS-Jellylorium (BBBay), West Side Story-Anita (CCCT), Die Fledermaus-Dancer (OSJ), and more. Casey Johnson

Casey Johnson is thrilled to be a part of Urinetown. Originally from Michigan his previous credits include Les Miserables, South Pacific, Mary Poppins, Joseph...., and Dogfight. He is proud to include Urinetown as his first show at AMDA. He really hopes you enjoy the show and wishes that you remember to pee before we begin.

Racheal Yeomans began her musical theatre training at the age of eight years old in Northville, Michigan where she participated in multiple performances and revues. She spent most of her time studying dance throughout grade school, until she began participate in High school theatre in Lewis Center, OH where she was inspired to pursue a career in

 Drew Mizell

Drew is from St. Louis, Missouri and he is in his 8th semester of the BFA Musical Theatre program at AMDA. He is so thrilled to be part of such and amazingly talented cast. Previous AMDA credits includeThe Drowsy Chaperone, She Loves Me, Songs of the Silver Screen, Make Your Own Kind of Music, How to Succeed..., and Lean on Me. Drew sends a huge thank you to the entire production staff of Urinetown and he really hopes you enjoy the show!

   Nich O'Neil

Nich O’Neil is a dancer, singer, actor pursuing his BFA in Musical Theatre here at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, California. Nich is originally from Reno, Nevada where he started his dance training as a company member of the Reno Dance Company. Nich has experience as a choreographer, dancer, dance captain, artistic director, stage combatant, and performer.

Esteban Dager is a proud graduate of AMDA New York and is happy to be making his AMDA LA mainstage debut. Samuel is a second semester BFA Musical Theatre major and is so thrilled to be in his first show here at AMDA! This show has been so much fun to work on. Urinetown was certainly a journey and a half, but worth every step! Samuel would like to thank the cast, crew and creative team for all of their hard work! He would also like to thank his friends, family, and boyfriend for their endless support. Enjoy the show!!

   James Palomares

This is James's first production on the Silverman Stage, an opportunity he's super stoked about. James is a 2nd Semester here at AMDA studying Musical Theatre, and is so thankful to be able to have the chance to perform with such a talented cast in Urinetown. Prior to coming to AMDA, some of his favorite roles have been Tarzan (Tarzan the Musical), Gomez (Addam's Family),

Holly is so thrilled to be apart of her first Mainstage musical at AMDA. Originally from Seattle, WA, she loves cats, is a huge musical theater geek and a diehard Seahawks fan. Thank you to Nick, Nicholas, JJ and Kim for making this such a wonderful experience. You are a dream team. Holly is looking forward to graduating in October with her B.F.A in Musical Theater and continuing her life as a performer.

   Madison Bellissimo

Madison is absolutely elated to be a part of her fifth production here at AMDA! It has been her "privilege" to work with such an outstanding cast, crew, and creative team. Urinetown has been such a fun and rewarding experience for her and she hopes you enjoy it as much as she has.    Will Melvin

William (4th Semester MT BFA Major) is thrilled to be playing the role of Officer Barrel in his first production at AMDA. Before AMDA he attended Huntington Beach High School where he participated in both theatre and athletics.    Shakil Azizi

Shakil Azizi began acting at his higschool in Fairfax, Virginia. He then moved to Los Angeles in the Fall of 2013 to pursue his BFA in Musical Theatre at AMDA, and to finally establish his career. While attending AMDA, Shakil had the privilege to participate in various productions. His favorites include: Little Shop of Horrors, Les 

Miserables and now Urinetown. On his free time, Shakil enjoys watching Friends, playing piano and going on morning walks. He would like to personally thank all of his instructors here at AMDA for all their guidance and generosity to the students. Truly, we are lucky. â€‹

Aanisah "Neice" Watkins

This is Aanisah's second show at AMDA. Her  previous roles include 'Trix the Aviatrix' u/s from The Drowsy Chaperone. She would like to thank her mother and siblings for always believing in her. She's also like to thank Nick, John Todd, and Nick Connell for giving her this opportunity to perform in this show. 

  Andrea Holtman

Andrea Holtman is an Iowa native, and is currently in her 6th semester at AMDA. Her previous performances include, The Pajama Game, The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, Annie Get Your Gun, Kidz Roc (OC), and Iowa Youth Ballet (Principle). Urinetown is Andrea's third show at AMDA, and she is so thankful to share the stage with such a talented cast.

 

James Fraser

James Fraser moved from South London to Los Angeles, looking for a new perspective on life and art. While at AMDA, James performed in Toonsical, West Side Story, Annie Get Your Gun, Hello Dolly!, Avenue Q, How to Succeed..., and now Urinetown. He feels very fortunate for the opportunities AMDA has provided and thanks everyone who has supported and contributed to his artistic growth. James is excited to graduate and see what the American Dream has in store.

Leah has been ready to take the stage since the age of three whether she is singing, acting, or dancing. She trained in dance at Elite Dance Studio created by Jacqueline Hill, where she was apart of a dance team. Desired to enter the musical theatre world, she was accepted into AMDA's Performing Arts Program, where she plans to pursue her dreams as a recording artist, also a working actress.  She wants to thank her amazing group of loving family and friends that have supported her through everything thus far.
